colfix Mega T 2010 - New generation of adhesives for carton packaging
Clear, transparent and odourless: an entirely new generation of adhesives for carton packaging. The new polyolefin-based hotmelt offers very good consumption figures, thanks to its high bonding strength. This top-quality synthetic hotmelt adhesive from the Krones colfix Mega T series does not carbonise, does not develop any smoke, and thus does not cause any machine malfunctions, with concomitant benefits for the efficiency of the packer itself and the line as a whole.
One of the major advantages, among many others, is the new polyolefin-based hotmelt’s stable viscosity. Compared to hotmelts based on ethylene vinyl acetate, the viscosity is significantly more stable.
Thanks to its multifaceted advantages, with immediate effect all new Krones Variopac Pro packers will be delivered with this new adhesive. Krones colfix Mega T, which in future will be used as the standard hotmelt for these machines, is suitable for all output ranges. It possesses high thermal stability, is suitable for printed and varnished surfaces, and can also be used in deep-freeze applications.
